You’ll head for a hilly, boutique wine growing region, Goriška
Brda, which combines vineyards, haute cuisine and unpretentious,
friendly local people.
You are going to visit a medieval village Šmartno and most surely
be delighted by its narrow, romantic lanes,
the wall and a viewing tower, from where the Adriatic Sea can be
seen in good weather.
Wine tasting at a renowned wine grower in Goriška Brda takes place, who can boast numerous awards and a long family tradition.
You will be taken to a boutique wine cellar, where you will get familiar with the wine production procedure.
After that, wine tasting in a tasting room with a magnificent view of vineyards takes place.
Seven wine samples will be tasted, including authentic wine sorts.
With wine you will taste cheeses and meat delicacies from the region (prosciutto, salami).
You make a stop at a farm where the tasting of olive oil, fruit- cherry ... takes place (home made products can also be bought).
Dinner (4 course) at a boutique family estate with a stunning view.
