We would like that you taste a little bit of Slovenian traditional cheeses and get acquainted with the cheese production process and the taste of our dairying products (cheese maturing underground).
A very special cheese among Slovenian cheeses:
- Cheese maturing underground
A cheese produced by a member of Slovenian minority, which matures deep underground (70m). It has become renowned in Italy, where it is being served in prestige restaurants.
- Boutique cheese
A family-owned company, producing boutique cheeses. They produce cheeses without additives and preservatives. They offer several cheese types, the most famous among them being goat cheese with white truffles. Their cheeses are on a menu of Slovenian best restaurants.
|Gastronomic trip to the world of cheese|
We are going to take you to the world of cheese, to a family-owned farm, where cheese has been produced since 1988. Milk for the cheese is produced in their farm and also the neighbouring farms.They use only the milk of the highest quality. More than 70 cheeses from cow, sheep and goat milk are offered (salt being the only preservative), the farm being one of the few in Europe producing cheese from all the three milk sorts.
Our gastronomic trip starts with a guided tour of the boutique farm, cheese dairy and ripening cellars, where the entire procedure of the production of cheese and other milk products can be observed by the guests. It ends in the room of dairy and gastronomy.
We have selected a special tasting program with corresponding wines and guided tasting of individual products and cheeses.

- Hard and semi-hard cheeses
- Homemade bread from a nearby bakery
- Local culinary additives
